The Golden Hearts is an organized group of seniors made up of adults throughout the community. As Golden Hearts of Pisgah, our mission is: Called by God, we as Golden Hearts, share our wisdom, experience, talents, and faith through participation in service to God, cooperation among ourselves and with others; setting a loving example and continuing to help lead our congregation in faith, love, and obedience to the will of God. We encourage seniors to join us for lots of fellowship at our meetings on the fourth Wednesday in each month except for special events.
Tuesday Sampler's Women's Group
This group meets once a month on the second Tuesday of the month at a members home. We offer fellowship, food, service projects and loads of fun! Throughout the year we contribute to FIT (Food Improving Thinking), fill Easter eggs for the First Family Easter Egg Hunt, supply school supplies, assemble patty packs, and adopt a Sistercare family.
The objectives of Pisgah Lutheran Men in Mission (LMM) are to support mission churches in South Carolina, provide service to Pisgah Lutheran Church, and provide all Lutheran men of Pisgah and others an opportunity to enjoy worship, Bible study, fellowship and food, enhancing our spiritual growth and Christian life.
The God Squad
The God Squad is a group of
volunteers primarily responsible for the church's participation in Lexington
County's ACS Relay for Life, the planning and implementation of the Fall
Festival. The God Squad also plans various other programs throughout the year at
Pisgah, ranging from Hanging of the Greens to Family Fun Nights.
Although they continue to be few in number, Pisgah's Busy Bees create beautiful afghan of various sizes, along with hats, scarves, and cup cozis which are donated to the Nancy K. Perry Children's Shelter and LICS. They meet every other Monday at 10am, and anyone who crochets or knits is welcome to join them.
